Quick Mindfulness Techniques

Mindful Hand Awareness:

Grasp hands tightly for 5-10 seconds. Release and pay attention to the feeling in your hands.

Mental Focus:

Stare at any object & remain focused. When your mind starts to wander, bring your attention to the object.

2.

Musical Stimuli:

Listen to your favorite song and pay attention to how it makes you feel. Engage your emotions and memories.

3.

Stay in the present moment. Find beauty in every moment, even the horrible ones.

4.

Don't analyze (or over-analyze) the situation. Accept that there is only so much that can be done.
